About Dr. Bruce Katsura M.D.
is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners. He studied medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Katsura's practice is located in the Liliha area, and he has been serving Hawaii for over 20 years. Dr. Katsura began this program in 2010 after developing concerns about some of his patients who were seeking liposuction as a weight loss solution. Currently, he is the only physician in Hawaii to offer the dietMD weight loss program.
Dr. Katsura began searching for a more holistic program to offer his patients that combined diet, appetite supression, and lifestyle support to get weight loss results that really changed the life of his patients. This program focused on sustainable weight loss that was safe and would allow his patients to live healthier, longer lives.
